Black and White contemporary kitchen invokes a sense of magic

Adding black into the appliances, sink, lights and tap just gives it the pop that creates a more interesting modern feel. Opposite colours can create magic…

Brief – 90’s style family home in East Auckland.

The client loves their location of the family home, so decided an interior make over was well over due. Something crisp and modern.

The heavy decor colours and tiles were removed and light wall colours and oak flooring was replaced, which really lightens up the space. The kitchen doors and panels are acrylic board, matt finish in an alabastra white with white recess handles. The engineered bench top is a white honed finish, which keeps with the very clean modern lines. It created a feeling of being light and uncluttered.

By adding black into the appliances, sink, lights and tap just gives it the pop that creates a more interesting modern feel. Opposite colours can create magic.

Over all this kitchen is easy on the eye and will stand the test of time with its modern features.
