Black on Black kitchen providing a modern contemporary feel

Over all the black-on-black design has created a very contemporary feel. This style works wonderfully with the architectural house…

The property for this kitchen was a new built house, based in the hills of Titirangi. Modern clean lines, with black cedar cladding and joinery.  So, it seemed fitting that the kitchen would follow the same style.

The bench tops are a mix of black Granite and Formica, the granite running into the sliding window to creating more space and service as an outdoor breakfast bar. Blum hardware is featured throughout, with the doors and panels in Matt black acrylic. The handle free look with internal drawers creates that special feel of modern technology. 1200 mm wide, floor to ceiling pantry area with bi-fold doors gives space for a well organised area.

Having a softer Formica feel on the long, narrow Island gives the room a good feel of circulation.
