Getting started on your kitchen or bathroom

Kitchen Process:

Mann Kitchens and Bathrooms offer a free design consultation at your home or business. Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in design and building. We specialise in kitchen and bathroom design.

We start with a design meeting at your property and come up with a new modern concept.

• The next stage is putting a close estimate of costs and a design drawing.
• Once everybody is happy with the concept, pricing and any final design changes. Then a 25% deposit is required, this will secure the job into our manufacturing schedule. Installation is between 4 -6 weeks out from when the deposit is paid.
• A basic sign off processor will also be required.
• The balance of payment is required before the kitchen is delivered and installed, with the final 10% still outstanding until everything is completed and everybody is happy with the end result.
• We can also Manage your project. Including removal of the old kitchen to organizing all the other trades required. Its just a matter of asking.

The kitchen comes with a 10-year warranty when installed by MANN KITCHENS AND BATHROOMS.

Bathroom Process:

Mann Kitchens and Bathrooms offer a free design consultation at your home or business. Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in design and building. He specialises in kitchen and bathroom design.

• We start with a design meeting at your property and come up with a new modern concept.
• The next stage is putting together a close estimate of costs and a design sketch.
• Once everybody is happy with the concept, you will have access to our trade account at Elite Bathrooms. This will give you the opportunity to check out their huge Showroom in High brook (East Auckland) and pick from the latest range of products all at trade discount prices.
• Mann Kitchens and Bathrooms will put together the fixed prices from our Tiler, Plumber, Builder and Electrician.
• We then present you with a fixed price quote.
• This work doesn’t require a council consent, if we are keeping it within the same house floor plan. The tiler will supply a PS3 producer statement for the waterproofing and the building will be at the NZ 3604 NZ building standards. The Plumber and Electrician are registered trade qualified.
• The workman ship will carry a 10-year warranty under normal living conditions.
• Things that wouldn’t be covered in the fixed quote: Generally, we remove all the existing gib-board from the bathroom. Therefore, any rotten timber or structural problems wouldn’t be included in the quote. The same applies to any sub-standard workmanship, including replacing plumbing or Electrical products.
• The process requires a basic contract to be signed between the two parties.
• A deposit of 25% is required to secure a date into the schedule.
• A second payment of 50% is required on the start date.
• A final 25% balance payment is made once the project is completed and everybody is happy.

Our kitchens come with a 10-year warranty when installed by Mann Kitchens.

NB: This does not cover excess wear and tear or water damage to the products.
